Smile vast improvement

ok i know its been said before but......i had the prodrive springs fitted to my my 03 sti today and what a difference!
loads more front end grip so better turn in,more speed carried through corners and generally loads better all round, this is how subaru should set up the car from new.
well worth £428 all in.
im still on the original 17" wheels and tyres too so when these are changed it will be even better.
i think theres more weight to the steering too?
very happy
mike.

How would you describe the ride on a standard STI? Is it as hard as the MY98/99 models? Is it as supple as the MY01/2?

not been in a older model for a long while so cant really comment but the sti ride is firm but ok.it doesnt really seem any worse with the new springs but handles much better.

Question

Have you had any problems with your battery mate? Keep reading off putting threads on here about flat batteries after a week stood. If I bought one this would cause me problems as mine is stood for days on end.

Thumbs up

have to agree it transforms the car (also had 18" alloys fitted) , car turn in feels tighter with less understeer.....
