Default Best sounding BOV, Dump valve

Thinking of buy a BOV, I have been told that it can sometimes naff the fueling up what should I lookout for. The BOV I have been interested in is a turbosmart supersonic from TSL. Has anyone had any experience with thes cuz I do want quite an individual noise. What to the other options sound like in comparison ie blitz, HKS etc. Which would sounds the best and have any got more a ping to them as opposed to the whoosh

PING??

Never heard a dumpvalve that pings!! Think you are mixing it up with a microwave m8

Seriously though, the Turbosmart is one of the best sounding and loudest DVs about and much more manly than the HKS/ Blitz or other expensive options.

I've got a Supersonic on my car and I love it. It is a bit whooshy though.

A bit "WHATISHHHH!"

Never heard the noise of a dumpvalve described as a Ping or Manly before lol

I've ended up with my forge recirculate not recirculating as I didn;t want to cut the inlet pipe I made..

Nice sound though and not too loud.. which is the opposite of what you are after.

HKS make the best BOVS around and unlike cheaper alternatives the plunger is kept shut by pressure so will not leak under higher boost, idle etc maybe not the loudest but more than loud enough for most and you can change the inserts for diff noises and get a recirc kit etc......

You just missed a GB on HKS SSQV VTA BOV.

Still if you drop Simon of "STI Racing" an email at simon@stiracing.com I am sure he could sort you out with a good price - he's certainly done an excellent price for me even though I missed the GB!

Waiting for it to arrive now so I can't give an opioion on the sound. However in terms of quality and trouble free running on your motor there are plenty of ppl who highly rate the HKS.

Aslo as someones else pointed out you can change the insert for a different sound - I have ordered mine with all the inserts (~£12 a go). GB for inserts (from Simon) here - http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/showthread.php?t=309159

Cheers
