I have a 96 turbo wagon and when i am slowing down and i lift my foot off the gas the engine is diein.
There is a loud clicking from behind the dashboard / speedo sounds like a relay switchin.
The rev counter drops as though it has been switched off rather than slowing down out of gear and when i press the gas there is nothin happening and suddenly the rev counter jumps back to life and away we go again. So far i have put a MAF sensor in (used) and new plugs but too no help. the problem seems electricial or immob related.
