Default SMACS meet sunday 21st march

We've had a bit of a low turnout lately on our runs, with the exception being the run out across strines moor with the south yorkshire crew, excellent run .
So, to give you a few days notice for this sunday, here is the alert.
I always seem to be the one organising the routes lately as well, so it would be nice if someone else could come up with one .
Not just SMACS members either, all are welcome, so come on down to the hare and hounds in otterspool for 7pm on sunday evening, all you need is a scooby.

Happy to come up with a route, so long as you all don't mind the odd dead end!

I know one or two good roads which we have not tried, and I think as ***** wants to try the Wilmslow tunnel, we can head over that way for a change. I'll also spot a good pub for our return run.

Sorted a route last night, but not found an end pub yet. Would have been better but there are some road closures at 8.00pm on one section so we will have to miss that bit out. Even has a Shell station at the half way point.

All I need to do now is sort out a pub for the lubrication stop.

Give everyone more notice to put plans in place/excuses to other halves etc?

Just a thought???

I dont see a problem with an 8pm start super, and that would suit ***** too by the sounds of it. Is that any good for you andy, a later start?
the week after is the WHEETON ARMY BARRACKS RALLY MULTIUSE EVENT, near blackpool, and I'm working in the evening too! so no chance to come out to play then.
Im happy to meet around 8pm where ever, then take it from there, get back around 10-11 pm ish no problem.

Hi chaps, might join you for this one but it all depends on Peter @ Prosport. P1 is in for it's first MOT on Saturday and I think she is running marginal on front and rear discs.

I'll be along I should think.

Si, have you seen the notice about Evo wanting a P1 WR? Get yours in there......it is the WR isn't it?

Have you seen the stink i've kicked up in general.....thread about R5 turbo versus the Sub???

Some people seem to have got offended......it was only a laugh!!

I wouldn't drive dangerously on the road.

Not on purpose anyway

Hi Mark,

You had better tell us what you drive first, if it's a 1000BHP Skyliner then you can go and play on your own

So long as it is not a R5 Turbo, I think you should be OK. Would be good to have some more new faces.

My car is a 210bhp Audi S3 with revo chip.

So should be putting out around 250-260 bhp, which it bloody well needs due to the weight of the thing 1485kg, without driver and fluids :-(

can someone PM exact location details of the meet.

thanks

Mark

In true SMACS traditions, it will be totally blind (except for me obviously!). Or rather - I can't be arsed printing maps. Radios required I feel.

Its now all in the Sat Nav, so there will be no problems (PMSL at that one!)

Dead end anyone?

RS4 is massively expensive, but 450BHP? Nice I would love one.

sorry I missed you pete, next time m8.
whats all this about fiesta brakes??
these new compound ebc red stuff pads and ebc discs are just about bedded in now, and are performing admirably
well chuffed with the performance so far, much quicker into bends, scrubbing off big speed going downhill, and once warm, very good feel.
crap from cold though, which is always an eye opener where I live! at the top of the hill.
NWMARK, if noone has pm'd you, we meet here on dooley lane. If you pull out on the map, you can see a PH, public house, that is the car park we use.
My moby is 07792969577, text me if you get in any difficulties finding it on sunday.
where are you coming from by the way?

chris.
