Thumbs up Dynashield Spray on soundeadening.

Hi All

I'm after some Dynashield spray-on sound deadening, i've found some on Car Audio Direct's site for £14.99 per can but they want £6.99 for postage, anyone know a stockist in the Nottingham area. I'm spraying this inside my boot lid, around the catch area & weld seams to stop some awful rattling.

Also does anyone know how to stop the rear bumper rattling like a ****.

Thanks for any advice

Lea

the only way to stop that rattling is to keep the volume down...

I've only got to have the volume slightly up anyway and the dam thing is rattling something rotten, think something must have come loose somewhere. If i DO turn the volume up all hell breaks loose, the interior mirror becomes totally useless and also rattles, the glove box lid comes undone and the windscreen actually shakes so do the wiper blades and the door mirrors also shake like mad, i'm getting worried that the car may fall to bits

Long live Metallica to kick some ***!!!!!

How does the spray-on Dynamat compare to the traditional Dynamat?

I guess the spray gets into smaller places, but obviously isn't going to be as thick as the normal stuff. Or am I totally barking up the wrong tree (again)?

Thumbs up

Have not used it yet as the weather has been crap over the last two days, i'm going to use it INSIDE my boot lid around the catch area and along the welds, also maybe INSIDE the rear bumper to stop the rattling.

You probably need a couple of coats to build this stuff up a little , don't think it would actually replace the conventional method. I have two layers of brown bread under the boot lid this does stop the lid flexing quite a bit, but looks a little unattractive.

Once i get the chance to use the stuff i'll let you know what i think of it.
