Default no tracker needed insurance

which insurane companies will insure you without a tracker
had quotes at £510 with a tracker but would be better to pay £700 without a tracker, cheaper in the long run,so long as some scum bag dont steal it.
thanks

Micky, I think there's been more than one, but the point about being able to rip 'em out quickly is a good one... I've got one, and further security, as I feel it's worth it. You pays yer money and takes yer choice

Post Tracker works...

Well, I would have to say that those who believe Tracker to be a waste of money are sadly mistaken. I think those who think Trackers 'prevent' theft have misunderstood its purpose. I was unfortunate enough to be car-jacked at the end of January. Thanks to my barrier deadlock, (which luckily I had locked in fourth on this occasion) they only got just over 500 yards down the road before burning the clutch out. Thanks to Tracker, my car had been collected within 35 minutes of the incident. There is no 'system' as such which will prevent a theft or a car jacking, but there are systems, such as Tracker, Blackjax & Barrier Deadlock which can insure that you get your car back quickly, and pretty much untouched as mine was. Not even any of my shopping had gone! Needless to say I would suggest any scooby owners take care, especially in IKEA car park in Warrington, cause thats where it happened to me at 18:35 on a Saturday evening. Like Chiark said: "...You pays yer money and takes yer choice .."

They did with me, although I understand the need for one. Just a case of YMMV I guess.
