By price it seems to be Magnex. Are these any good - and easy to fit?
At the mo I have standard d/p and "old" P1 bb (on MY97), so am looking for more noise.

You will get much more noise and hear the Turbo spoil up much quicker with a "whoooosh" sound if you replace your standard down pipe with a decat down pipe. More importantely you will gain considerably more power with a decat down pipe. I have an H&S decat down pipe and it's very good quality and popular.
IMO i would replace the D/P first and then listen if it's giving you the sound you want. The actual type of Scooby sound will be dependent on the back box you have.
Loud...Blitz,Firestorm,Afterburner Vortex.
Less loud...Ninja,magnex,H&S scoobysport ect.

Just putting in a decat centre section will not add much to the performance and make the sound just alittle deeeper.
