Default exhaust on a P1

anyone had any issues post fitting either firestorm or blitz full decat exhausts on a p1. I have a long warranty left and low miles, less than 2000 miles, but if the warranty is invalidated, what problems could occur if I go FS or Blitz.

I've heard of engine warning codes etc etc but need advice please

I dont think it would be worthwhile risking your warranty for a full decat, the advantages of full decat are reasonable performance wise, but still not worth risking it, it would be a lot of hassle replacing all your system prior to going back to a subaru garage for any servicing

I ran a full sccobysport decat on my P1 for 2 years. My dealer performed warranty work on the car and never mentioned it being a problem even when it was associated with the exhaust rattling.

I'd recommend doing it...oh that sound was great, I do miss it!

Note though, if you do go for a full decat, run the car on Optimax or at least Super unleaded. I ALWAYS did and had no issues.

Doesn't the P1 only have 1 cat anyway in the downpipe ?

Centre section is an Sti V part which is a resonated decat centre pipe and exactly the same one that they use as part of the PPP package on the standard UK turbo of the same age.
