Two rather scruffy looking guys Knock at your door with a bogus reason eg.
they have come to do some plumming and got the wrong address (thats the one i had).
One does all the talking and is very interested in the inside of the house he even tried to just walk into the hallway, the other eyes up the car (mine was on the drive around 7pm)
Once rid of them they were spotted twice parked at the very bottom of my street and when approached drove off, they were also spotted driving slowly up the street at around 1am.
When i informed the police they told me they were aware of the two men and from my description of them and there car it was the same two who had been reported in other local areas around the same time as high performance and expensive cars had been stolen. Some cars where stolen straight out whilst some had the house broken into and the keys stolen (i assume this is why he tried to walk into my house and was having a good look round).

Be aware.If you see them call the police.

One guy is around 5'6"-5'9" tall about 45 y/o and plum with short balding hair.
The other guy is around 5'10-6' tall about 30-35 y/o with long slightly curly scruffy dark hair. They drive a red H-M reg shape fiesta and look scruffy in general in mucky building gear (this could be to look more genuine when they say thier plummers or builders etc.)
