Alarm - Proof it's fitted.
Phoning around for insurance quotes at the moment.
Have been asked to prove that I have an alarm/immobiliser fitted, which I do.
It was on when I bought the car and I have no receipt or anything. Can I take it somewhere that will check the installation and issue some sort of certificate?
What about the tracker? The same or will the subscription invoice be enough?
BTW just had a shock - Tesco online was £550 but nowhere to enter Import - when I phoned them and said it was an import it went to £876!!
Cheers,
Rob.

you can get an alarm fitting company to provide a proof of installation certificate (or words to that effect) not sure about the tracker though, i guess your yearly certificate is ok - i'm in he same boat as you when i come to insure mine

Make sure the alarm company that does this are VSIB (Vehicle security instalation board) approved, as the insurance company may require this.
