Default all cars with tints beware

used to have tints on my old cars allways but are u all aware the law has changed and u can now have no tinted window film at all on the front drivers and passenger side windows..if u have an accident and u have tinted window film ur insurance co will probably not pay out.pentagon autotint are offering all their previous customers free removal of the front window film but i doubt many others are offering this...no point having it if u cant have the fronts done looks silly otherwise...this came about because of an accident in scotland i blve when it was proven the window tint obscured the vision of a driver which led to a bad accident

Are you also aware that many Police patrol cars now also carry a "light meter" with which they can check the opacity of window films on front door glass.
They then have the power to issue a "rectification notice" to get the film removed, plus they will no doubts issue a "fixed penalty " to the offence.

So dont just think its your insurance at risk of higher insurance rates, its going to hit your pockets deeper than that.

If you think you may be in trouble due to the darkness of the film, go to your nearest film company and get then to check it for you.

as stated they can use these light meters but in reality they dont have to as any tinted film even the lightest avail is now illegal and as such the very least will be a warning then fixed penalty or producer and worst of all the really dark tints they can take the car there and then and impound it...must be a bitch of a job th remove
