Anyone else offer good claims protection, or should I even bother? If I've got 7 years, will it go down to 5 (max anyway), or do they stop counting at 5, which will drop to 3?

 

The general rule is your lose 2 years resulting from a claim. Each company will have there own maximum number of years NCD, some are 4 going anything upto 9 yrs. So which ever company your getting a quote from, its best to ask how many years you will lose, from the result of a claim.
