My insurance is due for renewal in a couple of weeks and I'm trawling for quotes even though my current company have come in at a decent price.

Filled in my details on their site a couple of weeks ago for a ring back quote. Not heard from them at all, insurance due on Weds so will be going with the quote I have.
edited to say, if they can't be bothered quoting, they wont be much use when or if you claim.

If you dont live in a very nice area, dont have a garage to park your car in, dont have a security pillar on your drive then your pretty stuffed with subaru insured.

Oddly enough, I too left my details on their site a couple of days back and I've had no response. Doesn't exactly inspure you with confidence in them, eh?
Thanks guys: think I'll give them a wide berth.

Subaru insured is Schofield Insurance, run by Tom (Rum on the bbs) I've just renewed my STi with them today. I've been with them 3 years, and can only give good reports of the service I've received. If you ring 0870 770 6220 and ask to speak to John, they'll do it over the phone for you

Just tried them. Very friendly (Didn't even have to wait to get through). Unfortunately unsuitable for myself, as they require a garage. You also have to be over 28yrs for STI and over 30yrs for a WRX (yes that is the correct way round). *If* I had a garage though they'd be much cheaper than Tesco / Elephant, as they only seem to add a little bit for the PPP...Tesco etc want about 50% hike.
