We have a 97 STI import which has been fine for the last couple of years, but the other day I was driving behind my dad to see how the exhuast note sounded with a bung in the system.

Anyway he put his foot down a bit and i could hear the wheels spinning and could smell the rubber! Now we think its only the back wheels as it has completely knackered the tyres but the fronts are ok.

Someone seems to think it could be a problem with the 4 wheel drive system, maybe pushing too much power to the rears.

Anyone had this problem or got any advice?
