Ive been quoted on having a decat for the front pipe and was wondering if its worth it?
Does it give you much more power or just a titchy bit!!
The quote ive got is about £300 fitted so i want it to be worth it

I had it done on my 98 UK Turbo - well worth it !

oh - and what else have you done e.g. mid-decat, backbox etc ?

 

Its on a my93 WRX.
Hopefully then it will be job done until the scooby ecu!

 

certainly opens up the rest of the exhaust if you've done the decat....

Ive already got the system from hell (which was already on it)
Looks like a Blitz exhaust but its very very loud!

 

It will be slightly louder, but it will give a much better sound too, IMO.

Nobody I've spoken to has regretted fitting one, because of the increased torque, and less turbo lag.

The price seems slightly high, but on an older car they can be a bugger to get the nuts off, so they've probably allowed for that.

 

well worth doing .. however price is a bit steep ....

 

Paid £250 for Magnex downpipe fitted well worth it IMO makes it hard to keep the windows up in this cold weather tho.
