I did this the other week

http://homepage.ntlworld.com/b.ruces...7ecupinout.jpg

Do you know how to get to the ECU?

If so, there will be 3 yellow plugs to it. The bottom plug has the wire you need for the signal (pin 5, blue wire from memory) which is top row and 5th in starting from the right.

Earth (pin 13) which is bottom row and second in from the far right

Posotive 12v (pin 11) which is top row on the far left (nearest the other yellow plug)

The diagram shows the pins looking into the mouth of the ECU.

Just cut back some shroud from the relevant wires and solder your AFR connections to it. Then wrap well with insulation tape. Do not use connctors or Scotchlock etc. And I would ignore the instructions, use the ECU live and earth. Its what the ECE is seeing relative to the lambda.

Its easier to do it at the ECU to be honest, but you can do it at the sensor.

All 3 wires that you need are there at the ECU, so its convinient. I dont think you can solder onto the actual lambda sensor wire - its a funny material.

Dawes and Autometer are all the same wiring.
