Age 31, passed test at 17, 12 years no claims (never had a claim, never had an accident), clean licence, car garaged, have previously owned:

String of normal perfomace cars (unmodified) i.e. Audi Quattro etc followed by

430hp RWD Sapphire Cosworth with MASSIVE mods at age 27 for 2 years - 1400 insurance - fair enough.

Lots of boring cars after this one, some company cars.

Current car:
260bhp 4wd Jap import WRX RA with a few mods (brakes, steering wheel exhaust and induction) at age 31 - 1350 insurance

WTF WTF!!!?

This is so bloody annoying I have spent THOUSANDS on insurance over the last 13 years and never claimed.

I HATE insurance companies,

Guess ill bend over and get F@cked by another one now.

Why does someone not do an insurance company for people like me, never crashed, lots and lots of No Claims, passed test eons ago, have driven stupidly fast cars for years are years. i.e low damn risk!

I tried about 16 insurance companies, L & V I think said WRX RA doesnt appear on their computers - however I phoned so many I may be wrong.

Eventually got insured with Adrian Flux,

On the cozzy was insured by Hyperformance for 2 years - But they wouldent even quote me on the WRX RA hmm 430 bhp RWD v 260 bhp 4WD... Dime Bar... DIME........ BAR!!

 

Is it the 4 door version?

 

... and are you sure about the 260hp - I thought they were 280hp.
