was it jezza clarkson video that was shown with him trying to drive down the road and then climbing onto the windscreen for a laff, which resulted in the truck leaving the road and smashing into a tree?

Nice of the BBC to pay that out of our license fee. Perhaps Clarkson should have it docked from his no doubt monumental fee for presenting the show!!!

FFS I've seen cars hit smaller trees than that killing the driver/passenger...
Low and behold - the tree survives!

How can you be sorry for something that you did intentionally?

If the tree dies, sure plant another and bill the BBC or Jez for felling and replacement. There's nothing to say the tree wouldn't die in a few years from natural causes - or the council lopping off to many branches

Bloody PC lot in the country complaining over increasingly petty issues is really irritating me these days.

Pretty cheap really,

If they would of used a proffesional stunt tree, think of the agents fee's actors guild, proffesional stunt persons guild fee's. The theres the security for keeping the fans away.

£250 is a bargain in the TV film world. The teamsters would of eaten more donuts than that.
