Default Clifford 600 - stopped beeping twice when locking

Usually my alarm beeps once when you disarm it and beeps twice when arming.

However, its stopped beeping twice and I can't work out how to make it beep again.

I'm using the master fob as I've lost the companion one.

The manual explains how to change the beep settings better than I could

A change in the beep tone indicates low fob battery, but IIRC the system doesn't use a lack of beeps to warn you of anything, so you've probably turned them off accidentally or it's done it itself for some reason .

Hope that does the trick.

Ben

or: it might be like mine and my 'beep siren' was smashed to bits by some road debris up in the peaks hence no more chirps...

So it still beeps once then ?

Thought I'd read somewhere that if the siren battery fails then this is reflected in the beeps when arming/disarming

If its completely silent then 'Silent Night' option could have been activated. the link to the user manual where the table of user-selectable features is shown doesn't show all functions.

2 blank presses followed by 2* presses switches silentnight on and off.

Cheers

Mark

Hi,

Just a thought, what would happen if you accidentaly turned on the IntelliVoice4 and didn't have it fitted?

Manual says the chirps will be replaced by the voice commands, can be turned on and off by Master Channel 8 or Companion headlights + boot release.

Let us know what it was.
