Proven Two Warranty
Anyone had this and found it worthwhile ??
My waggon has done 58k, had it twelve months under another sort of Subaru warranty, done 12k without any problems at all apart from a dodgy wiper blade from a well known motoring superstore. £324 for this "Proven Two" seems to be quite a bit for rather unspecified "failure of major mechanical and electrical components" as the letter from Subaru Warranty Services states.

I have a friend who owns a P1 which hit three years old with 45K on the clock. He was debating whether to go for the one year extended warranty or get it modded and screw the warranty. His decision wasn't helped by the fact that he hadn't really had any problems up until that point, so it seemed like a waste of money!
Anyway, a couple of months down the line his gearbox has gone **** up in a big way and he would be looking at many £1,000's if he had not extended the warranty. The 'box has already been stripped and rebuilt, but it may now have to be replaced completely...
I would get the warranty, unless you are planning to mod it...
Mark.
