Been on lates for 2 weeks, and on nights for a few weeks now, so up for a drive out tonight. I've got a nice little route sorted, taking in the snake, ladybower, strines moor, holmfirth and holme moss.

My motors just come back from Prosport today all tinkering completed. I am in Wales this weekend so Sunday is a no no. But after that I shall be returning to the fold for some high speed action. Just remembered Peter told me I will be needing new discs all round very soon, so the return may not be for very long.

ok, pay attention you lot: meet at the usual smacs meeting point at the h&h for 7pm GOT THAT
Leave for 7:20 at the latest, and get to the strines pub around 1 hour later, actually less, as I can do the snake up to the car park by ladybower, and back, in just over 1 hour
Meet up with the yorkshire scoobys at around 8:15-8:30, have a shandy, and head out towards the barnsley road, and over to holmfirth and holme moss.

just as an aside, if the weather gets frozen again, I'll call this off. The roads up on strines moor are about as high and as open as you get around here, and will freeze solid at night if its icy. So, although it would be kinda fun for a short while, I really want a good blast out, not to have to tiptoe around every corner, fearful of being rearended

Obviously, as most of the smacs have now had there geometry done, I have lost any advantage I had on the road, hehe.
Still, I do the snake at least once a week, so local knowledge is a good thing

probably best if you go home from there, as we will head up to the top of holme moss, and bring the south yorks crew with us, then down onto woodhead pass, and we'll turn right towards glossop, they can turn left back toward barnsley!

Im at the scoobyball 3 on the 13th march cheesy, so there's no reason why I couldn't meet you lot, and a contingent from the smacs down there.

The South Yorks lot are meeting at OWLER BAR - Moorlands Boozer carpark, its at the big oval roadabout heading out from Totley OR from holmesfield way, we'll be there at 730 then drive to STRINES to meet the smacs lot.
