Ecu fueling questions

Another thing you can do is bleed the Map Sensor/Baro Solenoid, which will fool the ecu in thinking you are running less boost than you are. But before you do anything like that you need to make sure that you have uprated injectors, fuel pressure

Question

Am I correct with the assumption that the standard ECU (MY97 UK Turbo) can adjust the fueling for a boost pressure of up to 1.2bar (where at that point the overboost protection comes into play)

The reason is that I am looking to buy a boost controller (HKS,GReddy,Apexi) and only want to raise the boost to 1.1 bar instead of the usual 0.9 bar

Obviously if I can't do this the the Link route will be the only option! (not made of money)
