I have learnt from a very good source,that IM(Subaru UK)have been making up a database from the "popular scooby" sites on the net of the people that have modded their cars,so that if they make a warranty claim,they can then refuse it-Theyve been getting the info from pics of cars with Reg No. Plates displayed on pics, or Reg. Numbers displayed via posts on forums.

I daresay they could do a lot with email addresses where published as well. Either way, IM are perfectly within their rights to protect themselves against fraudulent warranty claims.
