Default I've got a big crack...

... in my windscreen. It's a 4 month old WRX so it should be covered under warranty, there's no sign of stone chips or other damage so it must be a stress fracture.

My only concern is that with it being an EU import the dealer is going to be awkward...

ah well..

Gary

What does the crack look like ?

ie, top to bottom of screen or jagged?

I would not get to stressed (sorry for the pun)
I have had 4 screens in my 2001 UK300. Insurance can be a wounderful thing
£40 a time is a bargain.(my excess on screens)
So you should have an alternative route if dealer won't play ball which is what will probably happen not just cos its an import but cos it is the front screen. I can hear them now "something must have hit it m8"

All the best
Pete

civicturbo - the crack is about 5 inches long and goes down from the top middle of the screen, curving slightly towards the end.
