Cool

I just bought one for mine and will be fitting it this w/end. Doubt you can wait that long. The nice people at MOTECH said that model will fit a 93.
Mine arrived this lunchtime, thanks guys.

A quick peek at the instructions and photos didn't seem to instill too much fear in me...

As said yesterday KN, Optimax and ECU reset this w/e..............whooopeeeeeeeeeee!

Richard,

Managed to fit the 57i this lunchtime.
It all fits my 93 WRX OK.
When done, be prepared for lots of sucking and whooshing noises as you drive - takes some getting used too!!!!!!!
No performance data yet.
A couple of points re: fitting.
Don't rush it.
Fit it all together loosely to start with to make sure everything lines up and none of the hoses are kinked or under tension.
Probably a good idea to use some lubricant of sorts (not too much mind) when pushing tubes in hoses.
The M6x16mm bolts supplied for fitting the Mass Air Sensor adaptor are in my opinion a little short - just re-use the ones you took off when removing the MAS from the air filter box.
On the excellent fitting instructions that come with the kit it is a bit unclear where the APC valve feed hose is - its the only other pipe into the air filter box and when fitting the KN the pipe will just push into the black base plate.

I didn't have time to fit my cold air pipe so that'll have to wait until tonight.

ECU reset also due tomorrow...............

Enjoy
