My initial problem (won't go above 3000rpm) has taken a turn for the worse. Cleaned MAF, cleaned all wastegate/dump valve hoses inc. restrictor. No check engine, no select monitor report. Dealer can't find any obvious fault (worked on it for an hour). Road test shows vitually no boost (4psi max).

Fault developed suddenly during a run after slowing down, now permanent. Unfortunately when checked engine was very low on oil.

Does this sound like a blown turbo? Or could it be anything less dramatic?

It's a MY98. Anyone got any experience of wastegate problems which would result in loss of boost?
