Hi all, i have a UK97 turbo saloon. ive got a full de-cat and induction kit. the other day i got in my car and set off, i noticed for some reason that the exhaust sound was different to normal and i think possibly it might be less responsive than it was. could this be something to do with the turbo? if not what could it be??

has it gone flatter sounding and less of a beat to it?

if so, dont mean to worry you, but this is what happened to mine when the compression was lost in cylinder no.2 due to shattered piston rings, caused by high boost leading to detonation.

may be some completely different problem, but just thought i would mention it.

cheers
