anti-hijack systems? how?
Very easy, you have a pair of buttons (in one very neat small fitting) and you key in a PIN number.
This number has to be entered each time the door is opened, i.e. you're dragged screaming out of your car, or you step out to post a letter and someone tries to drive off in it.
If you don't enter the number, or you mess it up three times, it's simple, the engine stops and you don't go anywhere.

I dont see posting how an anti hijack system works is relevant unless you want to take a car with one fitted, the fact is, that if you speak to a clifford installer they will show you and you dont need to let the world know about it.

well said - and besides the crims know exactly how these things work anyways - you just have to ensure they don't realise you have one before driving off - that's why I have a large pointy object to hand when driving

Actually you will find that 99% of "crims" dont know how these work and dont know what to look for either as they are that stupid they need to break into houses to steal keys
And if you wanted to know that much about anti-hijack you would wait until you speak to a dealer, if the "urge" is that bad at 10pm (night time seems to be the "crims" favourite time to steal cars btw) then id be worried (as your car doesnt have one fitted and no doubt you are getting very paranoid about it
Remember, this is the "internet" and anyone with a service provider can view these pages, if you want the info, hear it from the horses mouth, you will find most clifford dealers open 6 days a week.

As said most crims would know how it works. You would also find that those who didnt know wouldnt sit looking at scoobynet in the hope someone explained how it works. Whats to stop them walking into a clifford dealer and asking?

If i told everyone how your house alarm worked, would you want it posting all over the internet?
I feel you wouldnt.
There is nothing stopping a criminal from going to a clifford dealer, not one bit but for fast information there is nothing better than the internet (just do a search on the likes of google and you will find loads of stuff
)
What i dont like is the basic facts of how these systems work given out over the internet, ill let you think of one new way of getting around this feature, its rather painful if your driving along.
