I measured my anti freeze density in my car today and the readings were off the scale. The guy i was with (mechanic) said it looked like I had neat undiluted antifreeze in my radiator. The scary thing is that my coolant was done at a subaru dealer at my last service.

Do i have a bone to pick with my dealer do you think?

If I recall correctly anything slightly above 50:50 will appear "off the scale"

Depending on what you use to measure it with obviously

At least you know they have changed it and the mix is strong, dont really want to pay for water dou you??!!! When I change antifreeze/coolant, the weakest mix is apparently about 25%, the average sort of anywhere between 25 and 45% but I always use a 50%mix.
