Question

Hi all, have just purchased Lee's Scoobysport Downpipe and will be fitting it myself, no don't laugh !

Before I remove the old pipe I want to check I can get the Lambada sensor out without damaging it.
Does anyone have any top tips on removing these things and what size ring spanner will I need.

Cheers
Lambo

When I changed my downpipe I couldn't get the sensor out of the original it would turn a couple of mm and then bind...I took a big chance and removed the downpipe with it still in....hoping I could get it out with better access.

A squirt or wd-40 to the inside of the sensor and it came straight out Can't remember size of spanner needed, sorry. I *think* it's spark plug size

The spanner is 22mm.

Dowser's method is how we do it too. Spray the inside, quarter turn, spray the outside and inside and wind back in and out about 20 times before trying to fully remove.

Clean the sensor with an aerosol workshop cleaner before refitting it.
