Question

I have been looking at a centre decat section for the MY01.

SS offer a two piece and one piece centre decat section. Does anyone know why ? Is it because its easier to fit?

Pete ? Anyone ?

Thanks, Nathan..

I think the idea of the two piece kit, is so that you can drop the CAT bit back in for MOT. As standard the centre section has two bits, one with a CAT in it and the other with a resonator, at least I think thats the case. Hence, the two piece solution gives you the option of dropping the cat back in, but not the resonator... I could be way off track here, i think thats the reason.

SS CAN SUPPLY A CENTRE SECTION WITH 2 CATS FOR THE M.O.T. IF YOU FANCY A DRIVE TO BASILDON. THEY WILL FIT IT AND TAKE YOUR SCOOBY TO THE TEST STATION.

We did want to make the centre as one piece, as it is more cost effective.

The problem we found was that it is too long for many carriers, so for simplicity of stores management, we dropped the idea.

As said, a 2 piece does make swapping the cat back in simple job, if you ever needed to do it.
