when driving at 3/4 power in 5th gear i have for a split second what seems like total power loss, this has happened 3 times in the last 7 days and is always when the car hits about 80 mph.

it causes the car to jolt back and then after acceleration picks up again.

any ideas ??

 

Have you got any boost gauge in the car?
If so, have you looked at what happens when it dies on you?
What about mods then, a free flowing zorst and an induction kit by any chance?

The jolt thing sounds like overboost...but I've only heard of peeps having problems when on full chat.

thanks for your reply, i have no boost gauge or any other modifications, poss happens when closer to full throttle, out driving today happened alot, not every time thou and really does only seem to be 5th gear
