Question

does anybody know if the heatshield on exhaust near the oil filter is a must have ??? mine rattles like an old tin can so im thinking of doing away with it !!!!

Take it off if you want, but replace it with some heat wrap rather than leave it exposed.

where can you get heat wrap from ? is it like exhaust bandage or is it sort of reflective stuff.

Demon Tweeks do a turbo blanket for about £100, just thinking about this....

Is exhaust wrap sensible with the cast headers? Doesn't it increase the chance of them cracking?

If not, then it's something I will be doing very soon!
