I've owned my car since October but how do I know if the tracker works or not?

when I bought the car the owner said it did have a pager system on it but this was removed when the stereo was fitted by the fitter becuase it was interfering (or something as long those lines).

Would Tracker pick it up if I push the car along car park with the engine off? How do they know if its been stolen?

TIA

I believe that's right , if you push it a few meters without the ignition on then you should get a call . It might be worth giving them a call if you are in doubt , as I'm sure you're insurance would love to wriggle out of a claim if it's fooked

I have traker monitor fitted and mine got tested on Sunday morning bout 2 hrs before the Long Eaton mini meet, reversed the car up the car ramps so i could get under to give the old zorst a good polish, and a few minutes later my son came out with the fone, it was tracker, as i had lifted the car up it had activated the tracker unit, and they gave me the call just to check everyhing was ok.
Even checked my mobile number again to make sure it was the correct one as it was switched off at the time
Worth every penny in my book ur scoob shouldn't be without one
