Question

Ok, I've got a UK MY98 turbo saloon and have got all the parts req to upgrade the front end to '99 spec. eg/ bumper/grille/headlights..

Prob being my car is the bright red and I'm replacing a wing at the same time. The paint on the rest of the car is in good nick but what should I be looking to get painted without there being a difference in colour/shade??

Not too sure if I should get the whole front end painted, but then again what about the rest of the panels??

Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers

i reecently had a new wing and bumper fitted when it first went on the car they looked a diffrent shade, but once the wing and bumper had been flat and polished and the whole car had been moped the was no real diffrence.

I'd certainly hope that the b/shop that I take it too will give me the best advice but best to do a bit of homework I think.....

I had my red car sprayed by a good bodyshop. When I bought the car it had already had the front sprayed for stonechips, and the colour was wrong. The body shop I took it to colour matched it perfectly.

Wanted - Was it just the bumper & wing that they sprayed, I'm sure a colour match would be poss cause the paint is in good nick. eg/ fairly bright.

BEE
Before they started they used my petrol flap as a colour guide and mixed the paint to match.

They only sprayed the panels that were the wrong colour. They then used the laquer on on the freshly painted panels and the next panel along. It turned out to be a perfect match
