Is the fitment of the MY99/00 OEM dump valve that same as that on the 03 cars?

Nezz.

 

Seem to recall that the hole centres on the IC flange are the same distance apart, but the new age dumpvalve has an angle (to enable it to clear the manifold) cast into it and the recirc pipe branches off underneath the valve instead of on top of it.

Thus, while I've never tried it, my strong suspicion is that a 99/00 DV won't fit a new age car without further supporting mods.

Edited to add that I couldn't think why you'd want to put an old OE DV on a new car in the first place, so if you're really thinking about putting an '03 intercooler on an MY99-00 car, then yes, in this case my belief is that the MY99-00 DV will fit.

I am selling a Blitz DV which fits my MY00 so really wanted to know if it would fit an 03 car becuase the owner of one is interested. It would appear as thought there may be issues with the fitment direct on to the 03 with clearance probs then.
