Does anyone know the right weight on a MY99?
My logbook says 1750kgs, sure that is wrong?

You sound about right Grant. Mine is 1240kg, an STI5 Ra. Weighed at Stirling on the truck scales used by the police.

A standard MY99 in the Chris Rees book is 1235kg(saloon) and 1306kgs(wagon).

That's the towing capacity, not the kerb weight.
As the others have said, the car itself weighs about 1235kg.
