The PIAA bulbs are circa £20 each and (allegedly) break even more frequently than their Halfords equivalent.

Bosch 483 100W H3 - at least i hope that's right. Got one sitting right here, just too cold to fit it....

Carl (praying he's bought the right bulb...)

Are they the same bulbs as my Cibie Oscars?

Or is it headlight bulbs you're after?

Oscars are ring 130w bulbs. Nice and bright.

Pity they don't work.

aye, it's me lights where the fog's once went.

cheers carl. will try halfords when i get the bulb back out. only thing with that is, when i had the bulb out before there was a couple of wires coming off the back of the bulb going into a plug that said PIAA on it. don't know if halfords would do this sort of bulb?

Cool

If they're the same PIAA's as mine (which i'd imagine they are) then the bulb is a direct swap.

The PIAA driving lamps on the RB5 use the H3 bulb. My PIAA bulbs blew every 2-3 weeks, so I stopped using them years ago. Ran with the original Halford 130W bulbs in my PIAA's for over 2 years now.

IMHO don't waste your money on the PIAA bulbs.

Which is why i haven't replaced my blown bulb yet and why i've asked Dave Reid to supply me with some covers!

Dave said he wanted to wait and speak to PIAA at the AutoSport show after New Year before placing any new orders. Anyway Dave e-mailed me yesterday to say that he was putting through some orders and I'd get my new lenses next week.

Maybe you'll get your covers then.
