Hi guys - just got my first impreza and extremely happy with it apart from one little niggle. When gearing down from 5th to 4th the gear change is notchy... i have checked the transmission fluid level and its halfway on the dipstick, could this be causing the problem or something more sinister. All help and advice greatly appreciated, cheers, redrocket.

 

hi ,just a small update re this issue ....i have topped up the transmission fluid this evening and is a little better but is still an issue ....any suggestions ???

gunna book in for transmission fluid change the weekend ....fingers crossed !!!

still open to suggestions though .....

 

might just be worn bushes in the linkage mines abit notvhy 2 my96 wrx.
