There's a couple of rubber grommets in the bulkhead. Look in the passenger footwell - and the corresponding point on the engine side.

Tiss,

I have some pics of my gauges install (MY99 RB5) on my website

Basically there's two grommets that are easily accessible. One is in the passenger footwell (used for the aircon drain if fitted), the other is down the back of the downpipe (under the brake resevoir IIRC).

You can't see the grommet from the inside of the drivers footwell as it's covered by the rubber backed sound proofing. I had to cut through the rubber to push any wires through. If you lift the carpet and remove the ECU cover you can easily access the one in the passenger compartment.

I used the passenger one for my ICE and the ECU Ground mod.

I used the drivers one for all my gauges (oil temp/pressure + knocklink). I took power from the fog light switch (12v illumination only) and from the cigarette lighter (12v power ignition). Ground could be run back to the battery, but I used a ground bolt under the steering column.

Cheers for the info people, very helpful website you've got Stefan thanks very much, did you run your cables in some convoluted tube if so which size is best for all the gauges and knocklink wires through the grommet near the downpipe??

Thanks again

Chris
