wot is the best filter for improving power?
not intrested in looks just performance

i have a prodrive wrsport backbox wich is quite loud but not loudenough and doesnt pop very often, any ideas how to make it louder and pop .thanks paul

 

Just got a K&N 57i fitted recently and was told by the Scooby dealer to take it off or risk the air flow meter f**king up and it also made the dump valve which was perfectly fine before blow like a ship.The Scooby dealer also told me it was sucking in the oil from the filter and probably too much air for the car and to use the standard one instead.I took it off 10/4/01 and found the dump valve is still working fine but also I have a bit more mid range pulling power than with the K&N and am still boosting the same but I miss the louder turbo/dump valve sound oh do I not.

Probably no use at all to your question as i've had a few too many.

im running a k&n with a decat center scorpion,quite loud and it pop and farts like mad,more so with octane booster heard a magnex 6x4 which is loud it pops and farts aswell.
