Need help with upgrades and power gains?

Hi all, I just purchased a new wrx wagon. I am eager to start modification, but I have a few questions. What are the usual steps and what are some corresponding Horsepower numbes? I already have a k+n filter installed and a 3" downpipe and muffler on order. Thanks
