Question

Does anyone have experience of passing the MOT test with just the (small) centre cat in place? After talking to Ron in the week I am tempted to go for the SS downpipe to complement the magnex system I already have fitted, only thing is I really can't be a55ed to change the downpipe once a year

Hi Glen
I knew you'd be tempted!
It might just be a case of changing the centre section once your car is due for mot.

There have been a few cases of cars (just) passing the MOT with the centre cat. The trick is to run the car around for a while, get the cat nice and warm, so it is operating properly and then have the emissions test done first.

Failing all that b*****, just find yourself a nice 'friendly' MOT tester and don't worry about it.
