How much quieter is the Magnex centre section with resonator than the standard catted section, if at all?
I'm not asking for dB readings, just an analogy along the lines of "like going back to a standard box from a Scoobysport one" or the like.

Neil.

I went from a standard cat centre section to a Magnex straight thru (no resonator).

Didn't make a lot of difference to be honest, but a slight increase in noise if anything.

Cool

Neil,

salsa-king has a Magnex back box fitted, he swapped the standard mid-section for a Magnex centre with resonator and the noise levels were not noticeably different.
