Tips required on down pipe fitting
You'll have to remove the intercooler firstly then spray the nuts and bolts with WD40 and then leave it over night to soak in . First time I did one it took me 2 days to do , the next time I did one it took me 2 1/2 hours . On my current car I let scoobysport do it , it took them 1.5 hours .

get yourself a decent quality 14mm rachet spanner saves a lot of work at the turbo end, halfords £8.00, well worth it it took me 2hrs to fit mine on my MY97 no problems it just came off easy, watch for damaging any VAC hoses though as i kinked one of mine resulting in a boost problem,it was a bugger to find as well as it was tiny, but go for it take the methodical approch if you are unsure what you are doing,i found a big difference in pick as the turbo spools up midrange torque is loads better now, hope this helps Rob

When you get it done let me know, I need an excuse to come up to Salisbury, and I can't think of a better one than to listen to a SS downpipe, plus, wicked from me to Salisbury.
