Question

I have a 2001 WRX which will need a 60K service in the new year, Beechdale Derby have said it will be Between £500-£550 as it also need a cam belt is this about right?

Anyone else know of any other place to go near to derby and also what costs I am looking at.

Thanks

Jon

Yes, the 60k service on all 01my's onward have the belt changed at this mileage now and not at 45k as on the earlier models.
The 60k service includes a "30,000" which is a "biggy" anyway, so now have to allow for belt change too.

Most of the garages/dealers have no problems with using your own oil, they will simply "note it" on your invoice, so to clear them of any liability of engine damage by not using their own, so to speak.
