made my mind up -had a look round and im going to get a de-cat uppipe put on my MY01-see scoobyclinic are doing one for £180 plus VAT-fitted-so unless anyone knows cheaper i ringing them up...

IIRC you have one cat on the downpipe and one on the center section.

You can change the up-pipe for a bit more power but loose a couple of hundred revs spool up.

I also hear that the downpipe cat gives better gains when removed than the center cat. Do a search on downpipes to find out if you would like single or twin dump pipes.

The center cat is not that difficult to remove. Maybe it's worth taking it out then just replacing it for MOT time.
