EBC or ECU chipping?

Hi all
As you can see I`am not from UK therefore I can`t get ECU link with mapping. I`am afraid that non-mapped link can be dangeroues for engine. Another way how to rise HP is rise boost level form 0.9 to 1.15bar with EBC /best with fuzzy logic unit/. Witch way is better? ECU link with bad mapping or EBC?
