Just talked with my local Subaru dealership and they told me that I need to replace the Thermister Sensor on my '95 Impreza. They said that it is located on the water rail on the engine. I purchased the part but can not find where it is at. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Thumbs up

To get to this is a complete bugger. You'll find you might need to remove the inlet manifold to gain proper access IIRC.

Follow the blue hose along to the right and you'll see a brown sensor. This is the item I think you are on about.

As you can see its a nightmare to get into.
