In a shock report in the IT on Sunday.
It was reported that a MORI survey had revealed a lack of humor and a sense of being above everyone else, was the main reson for 90% of Impreza owners choice of cars> They also said that if the trend continues that the UK would become a haven for such idealism and the country as a whole risked the very large chance, of vanishing up it's own exhaust pipe!

And which major car manufactuerer paid for that survey then ?? Seems these days you can have a survey or statistic to back up and wild claims .

I think the Impreza is one of the most non-elitist cars you can buy and I dare say most of us are more interested in what they are like to drive rather than the image thing.

ROFLMAO

Think they got that one ever so slightly wrong. At least 50% of the scooby owners i have ever met are complete head cases.

I'll get me coat

There's an easy way to tell whether they have a point and its an "image" thing or not. Our own mini survey.

The questions are ......

1. Do you clean your car more than 3 times a month (or do you think that a good layer of dirt keeps the road salt off the paintwork) ?

2. Have you changed your wheels because they look better in gold/anthrasite/tartan?

3. Do you have a personalised number plate ?

I'll leave you guys to draw your own conclusions based on the number of yes answers.

Cheers, Ian.

Scooby owners mad? which voice said that!

I've not physically met (oo-er!) any other scooby owners yet, but from the BBS you all seem a little odd!

Would get me coat, but it's been nicked, along with my sodding valve caps

The survey is right about me. I don't have a sense of humour, let alone any kind of personality.

One day I hope I will be able to spell saarkastiik. How do I post this in grey?

My apologies...

I need professional help....

It's something I've dreamed about for more than 15 years standing in bus shelters watching cossies, deltas and quatros drive by

Now I've achieved it ...

It feels good.

Phlabdabgurrgleflombydombydambydoodoo - As they say somewhere that I can't speak the language!

1) Sometimes
2) No - they were like that when I got the car your Honour
3) Won't be long now! - I've told the other 1/2 it's an investment

You may as well have a personalityectomy anyway if you've got one - they only get you into trouble! - You wait it'll be against some EU directive shortly!
